"We took our teens during winter for some fun in the snow. The location is great: close to downtown Truckee and all that Tahoe Donner has to offer. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. Other reviewers have mentioned that it is dated, and some of the fixtures and furnishings may be a bit dated, but everything was operational, comfortable, and this is one of the more affordably priced rentals in the area. "Perfect place for a quick weekend away with my daughters. The cabin is very sweet and cozy, plenty of games, puzzles, legos to keep the kids entertained on a snowy day. Fun backyard to play in the snow and super close to Donner ski ranch and Truckee. We will definitely be back for another stay. Maybe next time in the summer "

Isn't there a way of staggering, allowing people to get into their rooms over a couple of hours. People have to check out by 11! Also, need more help with luggage. Very difficult to navigate the corners of the building to get to your apartment on the 2nd floor. We ended up taking our luggage down the stairs! Also, the bathroom was locked at the pool....our key did not...
