The hotel is being used to house asylum seekers who have made this their home by using the the corridors as children's play areas (a bike race at 10pm) with screaming kids and adults arguing. "Had a really good stay at Mercure Sheffield Parkway. Had to mark down slightly on a couple of things. 1, had a problem with the tv, which was sorted, but then happened again. 2, bed was comfortable but found the pillows a bit too firm. Otherwise the room was very good, with plenty of space, and a good bathroom especially the shower which was spacious and hot. Really handy to have the small fridge too. And dogs allowed , yippee. "
