"We stayed for 3 nights here. It was a lovely stay. The self check in was nice. We enjoyed the common sitting room with games and coffee. In my opinion the breakfast was the only downside. They gave us a new supply everynight which was nice but it wasn't my type of breakfast, an apple an orange, a couple muffins, a couple rice krispie squares, some granola bars and some juice and yogurt in the fridge. If that's your type of breakfast then it's perfect! I would definitely come back though. "

"The Shortt Lake cottage was the perfect home base for our family gathering for my Dad's 100th Birthday. Handy for pickups from the airport. Close to my Dad's place in Truro. And comfortable for family connections throughout the day and night."

"Beautiful property! Recent overnight stay to attend a wedding. Appreciated the early checkin to get dressed. Purchased a bottle of wine for later that evening, very reasonably priced. Enjoyed relaxing in the various sitting rooms while admiring the beautiful antique furniture and artwork. A very welcoming space! Very comfy bed. And a delicious full breakfast the next morning prior to checkout. Would highly recommend!"
