"Great service by Maria throughout our stay. Was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. It has a steep driveway, but then you get the view of the mountains! Close to restaurants and hiking. Please note that there is no elevator. Yes, you have to carry your bags upstairs!"

"As very active, well traveled 60 year olds wanting to "check out" and relax, this was so perfect! Coffee on the screened in porch and by the fireside in the tree house throughout the day was perfect. The soothing sounds of the creek and easy hike from the property to the lake were fun. Walking in the sparsely populated neighborhood yielded beautiful woods and some mountain views. Lots of nearby towns to explore - including the Big Food museum for bragging rights to grand kids. We hope to go back! (Linens, towels, kitchen, etc. were nice.)"

"What can I say, this is the perfect mountain getaway! Secluded cabin at the top of the mountain surrounded by woods with the sound of the river below. The night’s darkness and the stars lighting up the sky….cant ask for more! The drive up and down is exciting (4x4 is definitely recommended to make the drive easy) and I would suggest trying to make it to check in while it’s still light out to make it easier to navigate first time up. Stop for supplies down the road before going up and using the fireplace on cold nights is a plus. WiFi available with streaming video. The shower her is awesome! You won’t be disappointed! "

"I can’t give enough kudos to the owners of this little piece of paradise! We will certainly be back when time allows in our busy schedules. The owner was incredibly attentive to any email questions and needs and the property was just serene. Absolutely on point with the need for 4wd or AWD to get from the main road to the cabin but this just made it more primative which was just what we were shooting for. 5 stars all around!"
