"The arrival instructions need to change. There is a much easier way to get to the address. Also didnt know about the gate house, stumbled apon that after getting lost in the park. We checked in with the guard. The contact ended up having to come drive us to the cabin because we couldnt find it. The cabin was nice, comfy, clean. Had all items you need. Didnt give it an excellent rating due to instructions. We wasted a lot of time trying to figure things out."

Rushing River Lodge

"We are in our 80’s and didn’t realize that the master bedroom was on the 3rd floor with very steep and open stairs. We found that the main floor bedroom was much more accessible for us. However, the shower attached to that bedroom was not working so it was necessary to use the 3rd floor shower. We did, however, enjoy our stay and the river view was outstanding. "

Custom built mountain house on trout stream with tons of privacy & hot tub.

"Pictures online do not do this house justice .. surprising, I know! The property is absolutely amazing for guest of all ages! The creek was a huge hit with our kids and provided hours of entertainment! We can’t say enough good things about our stay! "

Discover Romantic, Private, Peaceful Log Cabin on Rushing Stream with hot tub

Second time visit

"This cabin is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked and comfortable to cook in. We used the grill on the front porch every night, and it was also easy to use. The cabin is spotless and so peaceful.We spent most of the time on the screened-in porch. The porch overlooks a stream filled with trout. You can hear the water falling over the small rapids from the porch and the bedrooms. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. It was very clean and hot.We can’t wait for a third trip."

Spring Break 2025

"This is the second time we’ve stayed at this house, and we had a blast. We enjoyed going to downtown Ellijay and then eating dinner on the porch at the cabin. This year we found two vineyards a mile from the house which was fun! We can’t wait to go back next year!"
