"Cosy cabin with everything we needed. Bathroom was a good size and the shower was hot. We had an amazing view of hills and mountains in the distance from our kitchen window and veranda. Ate at the nearby Mole Creek Hotel, great food! Visited Trusnna sanctuary next door to us, would highly recommend this. Great location for walks in the area. "

"Our family had a great few nights away at The Pet Friendly Port Sorell shack. Outdoor area was very secure, allowing us to bring our dog with us. Great location. Thanks for allowing us to stay, we will be back! "

"It's hard to describe the style of this new(ish) build which actually looks quite old. Gothic, European? Who knows. It's quite different to anything we've stayed in before. Lovely outlook and very peaceful and surrounded by trees - isolated but not too far from Sheffield. Our first reaction was how dark it was inside but once the blinds were fully lifted things improved although still not as light as we normally like and we found the lounge area quite solidly furnished - no fripperies or...

"Last place down a small track with zero traffic. Perfect for solitude and a bottle of wine in the veranda. Local pub with good food and a small brewery with excellent red ale. "

"2 nights away with 3 couples - we had ample room and the convenience of being walking distance to Hawley House where we were attending a wedding. Close to shops, beach and quiet and peaceful lay out. With the bonus of horses over the back fence - we had an excellent time. The host was prompt with messaging and promptly attended after we locked ourselves out. "

"We stayed there with our show dogs as we had a show in Ulverstone which was less than 15 mins away. Great secure backyard for dogs to relax in after the shows each day. And sat out with them on the front porch enjoying the lovely weather. Lovely and quiet area which was good as our dogs remained quiet too. House was a bit warm at night but very comfy overall. Had everything you need. "

"Linda, We truly enjoyed staying at you're home. It was very clean, welcoming and very peaceful. We enjoyed the chickens and even had a fresh egg breakfast our first morning. The star gazing was our favorite. It was so amazing and something we are not used to being from Chicago. We have way too much light pollution to see what you see. "The Hobbit Cottage is a charming jewel. The host provided fresh eggs, ham, bread, apple cider and fresh pasteurized milk for breakfast. The host is gracious and gave us excellent tips for hikes. At night the stars are tremendous. An excellent stay!!!"
