Coming back to this wonderful house after days of fishing was perfect. Cozy fire, large ceilings, fully equipped kitchen and a lovely aesthetic made our stay an absolute dream. "It's hard to describe the style of this new(ish) build which actually looks quite old. Gothic, European? Who knows. It's quite different to anything we've stayed in before. Lovely outlook and very peaceful and surrounded by trees - isolated but not too far from Sheffield. Our first reaction was how dark it was inside but once the blinds were fully lifted things improved although still not as light as we normally like and we found the lounge area quite solidly furnished - no fripperies or...

"2 nights away with 3 couples - we had ample room and the convenience of being walking distance to Hawley House where we were attending a wedding. Close to shops, beach and quiet and peaceful lay out. With the bonus of horses over the back fence - we had an excellent time. The host was prompt with messaging and promptly attended after we locked ourselves out. "

"A great spot and overall tidy and clean well looked after property (except for some dirty kitchen utentsils..most likely a once off oversight). Also something to be aware of the stairs are steep and my 84 year old mother had to sleep on the couch, but she did find it comfortable.The upstairs bedrooms have sloping floors and the beds although comfortable could benefit being leveled up with some packers!Overall happy with the property!"
