"Staying in the houseboat was an adventure. We had a few hiccups in the check-in process but the hosts were very responsive and everything was sorted out very quickly. The houseboat was made in the 60s so some things were as I expected and some things such as the heating was not. The first night of the stay the temps dropped down into the 30s and the boat was COLD! So close to shopping but far enough away

"This place was very nice. Due to the time of year (December) and days I stayed (M-W), I may have been the only guest on the property at least one day. The staff were nice as well. The view from my room was amazing! Some snow came and it was even prettier. I can only imagine how summer views are. I didn't try the free breakfast, so I can't say how it was. My room was perfect and very clean. The fireplace was a bonus for me. Galena is hills and valleys, so if you visit in winter, be careful driving on those hills. Just saying... I've already recommended this inn to my sister and friends. "
