"What a wonderful and charming hotel! A perfect location and we had a great view of the Abbey from our room (room 2). There is noise from traffic outside as the hotel is on a main road but this is reflected in the excellent price and didn’t bother us at all. Parking is free which is a great perk when visiting a city and the staff are so courteous and efficient. The breakfast is super tasty and made from local produce. "Met some friends in Cheltenham, decided for an improv stay over as it was going to be a late one. Booked online and 10 minutes got the key for the room. This has been the 4th tim in 12 mo ths we have stsyed at this hotel and it is our go to. Super friendly staff, easy parking, ce trally located and the hotel has an amazing bar! "A warm welcome from the Reception lady, who quickly got me checked in and was very helpful. Comfortable room, plenty of space and room for hanging clothes up. Nice restaurant with lots of food and drink options, the waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Nice walks from the door."

"Lovely old world hotel. Nice breakfast. The only fault was we were put in a room at top of the building, 4 landings and 36 stairs. Although elderly we managed but with some impaired mobility it wouldn't be good. Suggested to manager that they put a note on the site for this room booking. It was also a shared bathroom which was my fault for not reading it properly. "
