"The location was in a nice neighborhood, by a canal & within walking distance to several sites, like the Anne Frank House. Apartment was clean & bedding was comfortable. There’s lots of stairs, as noted, & they are extremely steep, spiraling & narrow making it difficult with luggage to get to third floor. The owner did help with luggage."

"The photos which were sent with our confirmation showed a 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment. That isn’t what we got. The email had information for 2 different apartments. The photos provided should be of the apartment the customer is going to get. A picture speaks a thousand words. Mario was pushy. I wanted to carry my own luggage but he practically pulled my suitcase out of my hand after I repeatedly said no thank you. Will not recommend this place."

"The studio is exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Evert is an excellent host; welcoming, very responsive and eager to help. The stairs are historic but have rails on both sides and we received assistance with our luggage. Coffee, tea, other beverages and some tasty cookies were provided - an extension of Evert's hospitality. There are lots of cafes within walking distance, as is the train station, Anne Frank house and canal tours. We loved our 3 night stay!"

"Arjen and his Captain’s House were both AMAZING! Arjen was a FANTASTIC host!He carried all of our luggage in (& out!), gave us a walking tour that definitely helped familiarize us with the neighborhood, and he gave us several recommendations for places to eat….all of which were delicious!The Captain’s House was in a perfect location! Super central & convenient to everything! And staying in a place that was built in 1652 definitely added to the experience.Only complaint- we didn’t stay longer.I...

"I had the best time staying at this VRBO. It was clean and I always felt safe in the location. It was very walkable. I would love to come back some day! Highly recommend. (The only feedback I have is that I extended my stay and two people showed up on random days to clean so there needs to be better communication within the cleaning team and property management.)"
