"Check in process was smooth (Alex was so helpful and easy to reach via WhatsApp), location was fabulous, but YOU WILL NEED TO CLIMB 96 stairs to get to the apartment. The 3 of us workout daily and are in good shape and it was daunting. The lack of paper towels, toilet paper and napkins was a put off. We had stayed in another VRBO in Madrid, and the apartment was fully stocked with those items."

"The hotel itself is great, good rooms, good bar, great breakfast, lovely roof top bar area to watch the sunset the thing that let the hotel down is the area, to walk to the Ramblas felt unsafe for a lay on her own and i for propositioned by prostitutes on multiple times which was unpleasant. Taxi driver warned us about the piazza opposite the hotel was rife with picknpockets."

"Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a good location with a metro station directly outside and a 10 minute walk from Las Ramblas and the port. Rooms were a little dated but had everything needed for the stay including an iron. The view from the rooftop is stunning, especially at sunset. Don’t be fooled by the size of the pool though it is quite small, we didn’t use it but would be OK to cool off. Would definitely return and have recommended to others since our return."
