"Hotel 1898 was a lovely stay. The location is convenient and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Despite the busy street below, it was quiet and the multiple layer curtains kept out all the light for a comfortable night rest. The view from the rooftop was incredible. The spa was also fantastic! I highly recommend this hotel. "

"Excellent location for sightseeing and restaurants. Nice rooms, loved the big bath and welcome glass of cava. A mirror was needed in the bedroom as all mirrors were in the bathroom. No free coffee facility in the room or water you had to pay for these which was unexpected for a 4 star hotel."

"Hop on hop off bus stop was right at the hotel. Food court with very nice restaurants was about 20 minute walk from Eurostar Marina hotel. La Rambla & Boqueria Mkt very touristy but fun places are within walking distance. We stayed at Eurostar pre-cruise. It was close to cruise port. I dont suggest walking to the port because you have to cross a very high bridge. I did see people walking it though."

"This hotel is quaint with much of the interior reflecting Gaudi's work. The rooftop terrace was amazing and the quad room was perfect for my family of 4. We didn't require any service and didn't eat in the hotel so can't speak to that part, but would stay here again!"

Arriving here in the morning after an overnight flight with no sleep, they got us into our room early and were so helpful.
