"The grand high Barcelona is definitely an excellent hotel with excellent service. There are a few things I didn't like about it. There's not a lot of restaurant around the area. The ice machine was not working. I was charged €93 it's a good thing. I was checking my credit card when I asked them. They told me that it was a mistake and they will credit me back the amount. The lady manager was great very accommodating, but the male manager Christian wasn't very accommodating to us. Housekeeping also was an issue. I found that every day I was calling for tissue or towel that they forgot to replace but overall a very nice hotel. Would I stay there again definitely Yes!!"

" We had a beautiful stay. The room we were given appeared to be an upgrade with a beautiful view of the Marina. We really appreciated this special touch! We did have some trouble figuring out the room service menu. We use the QR code to scan and while it said it was 24 hour room service, I was not able to place my order. I went downstairs to make an order at the restaurant, and the server was gracious enough to send it up to the room as we were exhausted from a long days travel. Again, we really appreciated this nice touch. Overall, a short comfortable stay and would recommend this to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place. One thing worth mentioning, we booked this because I thought it was where Norwegian cruise line would be sailing from. However, I was told that it was a 10 minute Taxi drive from here and not recommended to walk given it was not safe."

"Friendly staff, clean, great WIFI, great outside common areas. They accommodated our very early check. Just overall very accommodating. We felt welcome. Location was great. 5 min walk to Las Ramblas, 10 min walk to the water front. Short taxi to the Port where the cruise ships dock. Tons of eating options. Area felt safe."

"I had a run-in with a staff member who was a Middle Eastern man of about 35 to 45 maybe 5'8 who stopped me at the door when I was trying to come into the hotel one night. I was filming content for my Travel blog, When he stopped me, he became very agitated and aggressive. I did not appreciate this. I am heavily tattooed and have a younger look in regards to the way I dress and it seemed like he thought I did not belong there. I was offended."
