"This hotel was one of the most affordable in Taos the night I stayed, so I really wasn’t expecting much. Upon check-in, the front desk staff informed me she had “upgraded” my room at no charge. The room was beyond awesome, the size of a full apartment, with a small kitchen, patio, living room area, fireplace, murphy bed, huge comfortable california king size bed, beautifully handcrafted furniture and beautiful natural wood details on the ceiling and throughout the room. I honestly was blown away each time I walked in the door. There was a huge and beautiful restaurant and “cantina” on the property and the $8 breakfast burrito I ordered for breakfast was delicious and kept me filled the whole day. The property as a whole is spacious and old… in that typical Taos spanish colonial style…and I found it to be magical and charming. The staff were friendly and the fitness center was teeny tiny but had a decent treadmill and was accessible late into the night. For the money I paid this place far exceeded my expectations and I would go back in a heartbeat!"

"There is so much room in this place! We had a very large group and it never felt cramped. The TV in the main room is large and the cable includes tons of sports channels. The drive to Taos Ski Valley was easy and the location right off the highway was great. The host was great about getting us all the info including a map of the property! The kitchen is large enough for cooking large meals. If you're looking for a large space in the Taos area this is the spot. "

"We loved our stay at this retro hotel. Location was great for our itinerary and a short walk to the plaza. Road construction was a small inconvenience and hopefully it’s completed before summer tourist season kicks in."

They have great amenities like a big TV and wireless phone charger, the whole property was very clean, the coffee shop on site is lovely, and (just as other reviews stated) the staff was extremely friendly. This place did not disappoint and it’s pet friendly, which is a huge plus for my crew. "

"This bed and breakfast hotel was beautifully charming with vintage decor and modern touches. We stayed in the main house in the La Sola Del Sol room which was cozy with a comfy king bed and pillows. The room was not well lit, only had reading lamps and a tiny lamp, a ceiling light or a floor lamp would help. Also, the leather club chair seat was sagging to the ground and in need of reupholstery. Breakfast next day was very delicious with a variety of choices: scrambled eggs, tater tot hash browns with bacon, green chili tamales, pastries, grapefruit, etc. Cheers to Cory who prepared the meal! He was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. We would definitely stay here again. "
