"The Bougainvillea condos were safely located on the Reserva Conchal resort where we enjoyed many resort amenities, such as the beach club, Neenda restaurant, and Playa Conchal beach. The condo was clean and well-maintained with air conditioning (very important) and laundry facilities in the condo (much appreciated). The internal shuttle to the beach club was easy to call for and very efficient. Bring money in small bills (dollars ok) as you'll want to be giving some cash tips for the services....

"This lovely villa was perfect for our family of 5 adults. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well outfitted. Spacious living area and delightful porches. Felt very safe and secure. Would have appreciated better water pressure in the shower, but I also understand we were visiting a country that is working hard to control water usage. We would go back to this property any chance we had! "

"We had a wonderful stay in Playa Langosta thanks to this gem of a condo. The location is close enough to Tamarindo to walk, but far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise of the “downtown” area. The condo was amazingly clean and has all the ameninites. The pool is great and the views from the porch were spectacular. Also there is a small turns essentially across the street which was very convenient for picking up things as needed and did not require a car or golf cart. We will be back! "

This place was perfect as we had beautiful, quiet Playa Langosta right in front and fun, more active Tamarindo within walking distance. The unit is clean and convenient. Melissa was very helpful and responsive if we had any questions during our stay. I highly recommend!"

"Stayed 2 wks in this lovely well-kept condo, with great bed, and expansive view. Loved the pool and used it daily. The pool bathroom could provide consistent toilet paper. The condo was as advertised and very comfortable with working air conditioning which we used often (it was 32 and 33 degrees daily!). The tv had great cable for quiet evenings at home after walking on the beach for beautiful sunsets and happy hour drinks and dinner. The furniture was comfortable and we settled in easily,...

"This was our family’s first international trip. The condo was perfect for us. Our kids, 14, 12, and 10, had a blast in the pool and ocean. The boogie boards were so fun to have and provided for hours of entertainment. The location was spectacular. We loved the beach - it was so quiet and peaceful and you can’t beat the view. There were several restaurants around for us to visit, but we also enjoyed the kitchen in the condo for most of our breakfasts and lunches. I am so glad we chose this condo...

"There was plenty of room for my family of 7, having a pool table was lots of fun. Morning coffee and sunsets on patio were just like pictures in listing. You need to have a higher clearance vehicle to travel on the road up to the place. Security was nice and property manager was very helpful. Place is less then 10 min drive to the beach and perfect place to stay."

"Location was amazing. Less than 2 minute walk to beach and every style of cuisine you can imagine. Amazing sunsets. Local grocery was literally a minute walk away for beer, water and any essentials. Complex was well kept and the pool was always clean. The unit we stayed in was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Air Conditioning mini splits worked perfect and cooled the condo down quickly coming back from those hot beach afternoons surfing. Zero regrets and look forward to coming back...

"I have dreaded to write this review. I may not be of clear mind due to our visit to Tamarindo. This all started months ago when we booked the unit. The host provided tons of information about the unit and the local area. Could not have asked for more on the front end. The host was able to arrange for transportations to and from the airport, for groceries and drinks to be on hand for our arrival and a golf cart. I can not describe just how beautiful this place is and the pictures on line can not...

"We had a wonderful family vacation, plenty of space for our family of 5. The master bedroom on ocean side was wonderful to listen to the waves and enjoy the view, and the view from the second bedroom was also great towards the marina, and made for great breezes through the condo when the 2nd bedroom patio door and deck open. Sunsets from deck also great. Convenient for many restaurants nearby. Had one issue with AC unit needing coolant in 3rd bedroom during our stay, and manager very helpful...

"Perfectly outfitted comfortable 2 bed 2 1/2 bath condo, only minutes from groceries, the beach and restaurants. Excellent Property Management communication and attentiveness. Pleasant quiet atmosphere, for 30 unit property, and lovely staff and neighbours! We are already booked here again for next year!"

"The pictures don't do this place justice. The condo is nicely appointed and the view from the living room and front porch are just gorgeous; we loved waking up to it each morning. Check in and out was super easy and the location at Junquillal is really charming. Wouldn't of hanged a thing!"

"The Casa Nahua is a little gem in Tamarindo. The room was fairly small, but clean and arranged sensibly. The bathroom was definitely recently updated and had a modern feel. Nice shower with shampoo and conditioner, both! And shower gel. The room has a smart TV so you can watch whatever streaming services you want to. The only downside to the room was that the fridge did not seal fully so it didn't cool its contents as well as it should have and we had to buy ice at the very nearby grocery...

"Las Catalinas es un lugar único ! Me encanta que sea un pueblito lleno de rincones por explorar … Los jardines los tienen preciosos! Super cómodo que la playa esté en frente y el beach club también es increíble … Amo los trials para caminar o andar en bicicleta ! La playa es preciosa y muy rica para nadar . "An absolutely amazing stay at Mar Rey! Unforgettable time :) The owners and staff are so welcoming, helpful and charming....you feel right at home before you even arrive on site because they ensure that your entire journey goes splendidly well. I could not have picked a better hotel....I am definitely returning there, but plan to bring my entire family with me next time! :)"

"Very well run property close to everything needed . Parking can be a challenge if you have a car keep that in mind . All is in walking distance and handy . The morning bfast was good and costa rica feel. Overall excellent stay if u r a fan of tamirindo and a busy area. "

"What a wonderful hotel! I can’t imagine a better place for our family to spend a week. We loved the views from the restaurants and pools, and especially from our room (gorgeous vistas over the jungle and monkeys swinging in a tree just off our balcony.) Our room was beautiful and so comfortable and well appointed. Staff is amazing. We enjoyed the beach below the hotel, the jungle walk, the yoga studio and the bird walk. We also drove to area beaches and restaurants- but were always happy to return to our oasis on the hilltop! I would return in a heartbeat. "
