"The one-room apartment was a great little home-base for our time in Valencia. We were grateful to have air conditioning and also thoroughly enjoyed the roof deck. It was also nice to have access to washing machines. The building is old, and it shows (e.g. there were some ants in the bathroom, and there are a couple things in the apartment itself that need repair), but all in all, we enjoyed our stay. "The apartment is on a great street in El Carmen, the old beautiful part of the city. The apartment is on the ground floor and has a very musty, mildewy smell. You can also smell the sewage smell from the sewer outside the window. No A/C which was ok with the fans but the scent of water infiltration or mold in the air made me uncomfortable during my stay. There is some noise from the street since lots of delivery trucks park right outside the door and the windows don’t have any glass or screens...
