"Fabulous hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. We were looked after by Helena, who was very friendly and helpful, a real credit to the hotel. We would recommend staying here if you are on a Hurtigruten trip as it is very close to the terminal, walking distance with a case, and the rooms are reasonably priced. "

"Fine hotel, 3 stars, only staff available at reception and one wasn’t very helpful, she’s on her mobile all the time, didn’t seem please when I keep asking question, the other staff was nice and pleasant. Other than that, hotel is clean, room is small as expected, and continent location right next to a super market"

"This is a grand 18th century hotel located in the heart of old town near the pier and historic sights. This hotel is currently under renovation. Appreciate the effort to update the hotel. Our room had a very strong smell from recent rennovation so the staff gratuitously moved us to a suite at no cost. The hotel also includes breakfast, afternoon snack, and light dinner. "

"Hotel is just a short walk to the airport. Very quiet room and comfortable. Everything done to simplify things (and reduce costs) for the hotel like self booking in, clearing own tray at breakfast (like Ikea) but staff on hand if any issues. The breakfast is fantastic with huge variety of hot and cold."
