"Very nice stay at the Clarion Admiral, which has a first class location across the harbour from the UNESCO world heritage Bryggen houses. Lovely views from the room. Bergen harbour area is easily walkable from the hotel. Rooms are modern and well-equipped. No parking on site however - public indoor parking several hundred meters from hotel."

"The hotel staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. I had an accident shortly after arriving in Bergen which necessitated our return home. The hotel extended our stay on a day by day basis while we rearranged flights. Breakfast and evening meal were included and was good. Note that the hotel is currently undergoing renovations but it was not so noisy as to be an unpleasant stay."

"The hotel was within walking distance of dining, shopping and the Funicular. The breakfast offered each morning had a broad selection of breads, meats, cheeses and many types of egg dishes. "Lovely classy hotel in an excellent area. Everything was walkable, and breakfast was amazing. A la carte and buffet options available. The room was elegant and cosy. It was my Wife's 50th birthday just before we stayed, and the hotel put out some fudge and hand wrote a birthday message that I prepared, on a lovely post card, which my Wife has kept as a keepsake. I wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you Opus XVI for a wonderful stay."
