The Admirals is a lovely facility in close proximity and walking distance to the city centre, greenspace and quiet neighbourhoods. A quick bus ride gets you to beautiful Tahunanui Beach area. Easy to get to Abel Tasman National Park or stay in Nelson and experience a nice 30 min. hike to Centre of New Zealand. Great restaurants, cafes and retail shops. Beautiful area. Will definitely be back to Nelson."

We were catching up with family in Mapua and Motueka and decided to stay in Richmond as it's much more reasonably priced. And it's only a short drive. Highly recommend this motel. (also has a pool which we didn't use). "
