"Awesome place, Jasper was the best host… carried our bags up the many steep flights of stairs! The goodies provided in the fridge were a thoughtful tasty touch. The area is quiet, walkable with many dining options close by. Also the Metro is only 5 minutes away! Highly recommend!"

"This property was centrally located so that everything in Amsterdam was a short walk away. The host David was so welcoming! The stairs getting to the rooms are no joke, but I knew that going in. Some reviewers have complained about them but Davids's property description is straightforward and indicates the property is not handicap accessible so do your homework and don't underestimate it. Our stay was wonderful, and we would absolutely book here again."

"Really enjoyed the property and our host Fokko was very attentive. Also Jasmine was so diligent and helpfull. Coffee was provided and had room service every day. Although we enjoyed our stay, take notice that there are a lot stairs (Play room was in the last floor). A plus was that our luggage was managed by Fokko an his staff during check in and out, but going up and down daily could be difficult! Thanks Fokko for being a grate host."

"Conveniently located within walking distance of the historic city centre. Second floor apartment within a traditional narrow canal-front townhouse. It is accessed up communal steep staircase from a main front door and is annexed to the main hotel next door. The apartment overlooks a very picturesque canal, which is the best feature together with the sizeable open plan living / dining / kitchen area. It has a comfortable double bedroom and a wet room. The kitchen area could use some minor repairs...

"Great stay in lovely Jordaan area of Amsterdam. Quiet streets and lovely old area. The room was well appointed and hosts are welcoming and responsive. The church nearby has bells all night which can be a problem if you’re a light sleeper (ear plugs were supplied though!) All in all a lovely stay"

"Beautiful room with excellent facilities. Very handy for the centre of Amsterdam and easy to get to from the airport. Trams every 4 minutes to the centre. Gerry Petra’s husband was great and told us a lot about the area and could not have been more helpful. The house is perfect to stay in in a quiet street right next to Vondelpark. We shall definitely come back and look forward to doing so very soon. An altogether wonderful experience. "

"Great location on a lake a short 30 minute drive to Amsterdam. The apartment was perfect for our family of five after a two week trip through Europe. Clean, spacious and attentive stafff. The restaurant on property was just what we needed when we arrived. Lots of other dining optoins in the area as well. At reecption the staff was very helpful with tips of traveling into Amsterdam."

"Loved Bob W. Stunning apartment complex, really good location - only a few stops on the bus to Amsterdam Centraal. The bus stop is right around the corner not even 2 minutes walk. I loved the little touches in the room like the stickers, the tote bag and the lil Polaroid camera that you can use and keep the pics (not the camera ofc so don’t pinch it 😉). "My family of 4 absolutely adored this hotel. We had a room with bunks for my 13 and 11 year olds and the rooms were large considering we are in Europe the the room sizes tend to be small. The safe had an issue and we were checked in 2 hours late however they tripped over themselves trying to make it better. They were simply delightful. We would stay here again. There are two locations. This one is closest to the cruise port. The other is in the city. We accidentally went to that one first and the staff there were phenomenal as well. We would stay at either any time. "

"Citizen M South was full of kind and pleasant staff, good breakfast, great coffee, great power shower with plenty of hot water, super comfortable bed and easy check in and out. It was also located within a walking distance to the trains, metro and busses. The rooms were well isolated and quiet."
