"We stayed in the Tiny Cedar House rather than the above pictured tiny Adirondack house. It was located on a grassy flat lot along with the Adirondack house and one other tiny/small house, off a beautiful scenic road, 5 min to St Lawrence University and downtown Canton. "Trout Lake has been an annual summer trip for us for the last 7 years and this house is our favorite rental by far. The cottage is cozy, but well appointed. "I’m trying to find the right words but all I can think of was a perfect Adirondack experience with our family. I brought a 16’ motorboat which enhanced the value by being able to explore Cranberry lake and it’s breathtaking. Rich was so nice to deal with and actually reached out a month in advance to answer any questions for our upcoming trip which I thought was really helpful. My teenage girls absolutely loved our trip, Especially catching fish right off the dock….This place is a gem. 10/10"

"The cabin and surrounding area were just what we needed to escape reality and reconnect with nature for a bit. The dull roar of the rapids could be heard in the background, helping add to the feeling of seclusion. Add the crackling of the wood stove which kept us toasty warm, we quickly relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the cabin as well as in the lovely town of Harrisville. "I am from Lewis County, my entire family still lives there, and I go home every weekend. I spent a week at this particular property over the summer and had the BEST time ever! Everything is stunning, clean, and new. Plenty of room! It has amazing beds/bedrooms, roomy bathroom with all the amenities, and new stainless steel appliances! PERFECTION! The only thing that made this even better was the owner. She was so helpful and kind!! I will be staying there as often as I can from now on!!...
