"Just a great and relaxing experience. Looks of places to relax and read peacefully. Good food and ambience everywhere. The only thing that I didn’t like was the green LED on the exit light above my door was bright and disturbed my rest as i like a dark room to sleep in.. when everything else is so good, something like this tends to stand out unfortunately. "Very easy to check-in. Hotel well placed for the main north/south route. Handy for a short walk into the town. Although next to ASDA , the area was relatively quiet. Restaurant attached offers a good menu, including a choice for breakfast. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. "

"Hotel was very ornate and a beautiful setting for a wedding. A bit dated and worn in areas but that makes it charming. Too warm in the bedroom and couldn’t turn the bathroom radiator off which provided all the heat. Bed was comfy. Carpets needed to be cleaned. Gym had very basic and minimal equipment and floors were dirty and looked to have not been cleaned for while. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming. "
