"After 30 years of travelling for work, this was the first occasion staying at a Meriton Suite, and first time back to Liverpool for 50 years. To start, check in was easy and on time (we arrived circa 3:30pm) and the room was very nice with a great view of Liverpool and surrounds. Check out was also straightforward. What does annoy me is at sometime we could check in at 2pm and checkout at 12:00 noon. Now rooms are enforcing check in after 3pm and checkout at 10am. I wonder how big that...

"This is a nice suburban area. If you are looking for tours, it’s a little far out. The rooms are huge. We had lots of room to spread out (separate bedroom). The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. I did hear some sirens at night, but my husband didn’t, so it depends on how light a sleeper you are. The area is lovely to walk, near a couple of parks and tree-lined streets."
