"Very nice one night stop in historical ryokan in an amazing location. My wife and I stayed one night after exploring an area of Yokohama we had not explored before. The ryokan is very traditional and gave a good feel for what it was like in earlier times. "

"The property is so so. There was problem in the lock. It took 2 hours to figure out lock key to enter the room. Electronic lock was not working. Mechanical key is difficult to get. It was scary to check in. At one time we were so disturbe as we were not able to open the door as we could not find alternate mechanical key. Kichnete is too small space to wotk. Toilet seat heating was not working. AC was not working. Overall so so experience. They should have someone on front desk for atleat 2 hours...

"Low cost. Very quiet area. One should be mindful and not make too much noise. Perfect to get a good night rest. I did not need to get the host attention. If needed there is a tablet where you can communicate with host. Not sure the host's English language capability. The rooms were larger than central Tokyo area hotels. The check out time is 10:00AM which is a bit earlier than most hotels but the quietness and price superseeds the early check out time. About 10 minute walk to Kamata JR train...
