"I was only staying overnight but I was very comfortable - I am over 80 and disabled so that was very important. The only problem was that although I thought I had booked an accessible room I hadn't so it is important to talk to the reception team - who swiftly corrected that and found me an accessible room within a few minutes. I didn't like the AI receptionist who answered the phone but she is easily sidestepped by just insisting 'Manager' and you get put through. The dinner was very good."

"An old-fashioned country pub next to Culham station. Some low level train and road noise but still peaceful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed. Excellent breakfast."

"The staff here avoided air fresheners at my request, and avoided putting the radiator on. The room was still warm in November. It’s in a lovely rural setting. I would love to stay for pleasure next time. "

"Staff very friendly and went over and beyond, especially Emma. Wasn’t keen on the cooked breakfast to be honest, bacon was streaky and very crispy and only an egg cup of baked beans but lovely cup of tea"

"Good beer, Good menu, good food. Excellent breakfast. There was an open mic evening when we stayed, which was very entertaining. Loved our stay, will do it again soon."

"The staff was very friendly but I have to admit the internet even at times when I could connect was so weak, I couldn’t even access my emails. The shower has a power saver machine on it but the problem is the hot water cycles from cold to warm to scalding and around and around so you constantly have to dip under and out. I can’t say the stay was worth the price."

"Working locally and this was perfect for me. Lovely country inn in beautiful surroundings. Food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again if in the area. Would highly recommend."

"There isn’t anything I can say negative about the Place. We have stayed there before and now decided whenever we return to Swindon we would not stay anywhere else. It’s such a Friendly place and the Staff are so helpful and obliging. Rooms are immaculate. Everything you need is there and spotlessly clean. Food great and Breakfast outstanding. What more can I say. Well Done to the whole team can’t wait to return. "

"A lovely 2 day break at the lakes, so peaceful and relaxing. Spa is great too and we pretty much had it to ourselves most of the time. Food in the tipi was also great, would have liked to have seen some more sweet breakfast and healthy options though. It would also be great if there was an on-site shop to buy any groceries/essentials to save having to drive elsewhere."

"It was a perfect property for a large family getting together from different parts of the world. The house is spacious with many sleeping options and well equipped for large groups including cooking facilities. The garden is very pretty and well looked after. We had a great time. "
