"The staff were great -- friendly and helpful. Refrig and Micro in the room. They have a great breakfast (can you say sausage gravy), a good tea selection all day, options for ice coffee all day, soup in the afternoon. The location is near diverse eateries -- pizza, asian, american, diner. We had asian and it was great -- very generous servings. I really like that they are clear that housekeeping is not every day (at least in the winter) and I certainly can make my bed and reuse my towels. We stayed a long weekend and it was perfect. Quiet. Convenient. Friendly. Comfortable. The coffee isn't great but we adjusted."

"the lore surrounding the Lucerne is exciting. Very nice facility, updated as much as you really would want so not to over take the 100yro essence , this place is very romantic and quite the experience if you want to walk the halls after 2am. Staff is fantastic and well educated o. the history. Highly recommend!"

"This is a wonderful new hotel which I am confident will receive mostly positive reviews. The details in the décor especially in the lobby and restaurant bar area are beautiful. Being here off season there were not a lot of options to go out, but I was happy to stay in and enjoy the view from my cozy 3rd floor room. The morning breakfast is a fine dining experience with the most beautiful morning light and is included in your stay. Book a room before they sell out. Hannafords across the street for snacks, fridge in the room, underground parking, walk everywhere and enjoy the beautiful town of Bar Harbor ."

"The Inn on Mount Desert is an older property very close to downtown with ample free parking. Leave your car there and walk. The free breakfasts are amazing; two options every morning such as an omelet, bluberry pancakes or blueberry waffles, with ham, sausage, etc. Plus the usual bagels, muffins always available, coffee always available, and so on. The rooms are plain but large with ample closet space. Everything well maintained and very clean."

"The room was absolutely adorable. Freshly remodeled with excellent design choices. Functional kitchen. Super cute little cottage. Perfect weekend getaway for me and my dog. Only thing was it was a bit cold, but it was very cold snowy and windy outside, so its understandable. Could only get heat to get room up to 60 degrees F (i set thermostat to 90, but 60 was all it could pull off). My dog and i wore layers so we stayed warm enough. Very comfy bed."

"Motel is a cute older-style motel with no-frills rooms. Rooms are safe, clean, comfortable, and good sized! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations around town. Where this property really shines is location! Minute’s walk to everything in town, it’s hard to beat this location, especially for the price."
