The hill walking down to pond was steep. For young kids could be tricky. Wish the outside furniture was a little cleaner to sit on. "Hanna was a wonderful host! When we had an issue with water pressure in the shower, she responded within minutes and had someone out to fix it within about an hour. The place is rustic but charming with a great fireplace!"

"The property has a perfect location within walking distance to the nearby lake. A perfect place for some birding! There is minimal road noise. A grocery store is just down the road. The cabin has good amenities and plenty of hot water. "

"The house is in a beautiful setting, very roomy and comfortable. Clubhouse/pool is very nice as well. Excellent host!! "

"We stayed between Christmas and New Years to go skiing at Gunstock - it rained 2 out of the 3 days but the house was so great with the indoor pool we didn't mind being stuck inside. We had an issue with the TV in the pool area and someone came out to look at it for us which was appreciated. Only thing I would recommend is adding a hot tub! Great place and thinking of renting again in the summer to enjoy the lake!"

"Our hosts ( John, Linda and Clutch) couldn’t have been kinder! House was great, well appointed. Lakeside with the fall leaves couldn’t have been prettier. Wish we had had the time to use the fire pit, did get to cook out on the blackstone grill. This place was a true gem!"

"Such a cute place to stay and our dogs loved having an area to run out back. We spent time in Freeport, Kennebunkport, and York and this was a nice home base that was secluded compared to other locations, which we appreciated. Would definitely stay here again! "

"Myself, my parents and my 4 year old son stayed for 4 nights. The house appears to be remodeled recently and everything looked nicely designed. Comfortable beds made for restful night. Great location across a park for my son and walking distance to the tow. Only thing missing was that a hot tub was listed in the amenities which we did not see at the property. "

"Horrible infestation in the basement. A caterpillar was underneath my blanket & it’s hairs got stuck in my skin. Which caused burning, itching, hives $ prickling. My one year old also got some of the hair on him & broke out in hives. When I called customer service, the property manager never got back to me. There was no apology, no nothing. This property shouldn’t be rented out if there’s an infestation. Especially when young children are staying there. It’s been 2 days since the incident & my...
