"We spent a lovely couple of nights over Valentine’s day. The pool was delightful as we spent hours in there across both days. The staff were all lovely and happy to help whenever needed. The breakfast was exactly what you’d expect from a hotel buffet. While the room was a little dated the slightly worn carpets, the comfortable bed more than made up for it making it slightly difficult to get up in the morning! We would absolutely go back"

"Great location- half way point from wales to south coast. Lovely reception, friendly easy check in. Nice room very comfortable. Only problem was the noise - a strange bit loud humming all the time - like machinery. Also the sink doesn't drain very fast at all - maybe a blockage somewhere - so water in the basin all the time. But all in all it's a good place to stay- easy parking and near Asda and the cinema too- both of which we took advantage of "

"We had a nice stay. The reception and restaurant were very nice. Our room was pretty clean but it felt tired. There was chipped paint around the drinks area and the paintwork in the bathroom was damaged. The pool was nice. Changing rooms were clean. Breakfast was very good. All the staff were lovely. "

"Park We really enjoyed our 1-night stay at the Queen’s Arms. We arrived at 4pm to a warm welcome from the staff and headed to our room called Blenheim. The room was very comfortable which a gorgeous bed, a large bathroom complete with roll top bath tub, rainfall shower, lovely smelly toiletries and a gold-plated loo. Which we thought was ace. It’s not everyday you see one of those! The room had all the things you’d expect - TV, fast wifi, plug sockets near the bed, iron, hairdryer, and the largest selection of teas and coffees we’ve ever seen. We had booked dinner for 7pm so proceeded to head downstairs to the bar where we tried a few of the local ales. The bar staff were really welcoming and kept an eye on when our pints were running low - great service. The Six Nations was in full swing (ENG v IRL) so the place was alive with locals too. We headed back to our room to get ready for dinner, and we were not disappointed. Again, the service was impeccable. And the food was sensational. We enjoyed a great steak and one of the nicest beef pies I’ve ever tasted. After a great night’s sleep and a morning soak in the tub while enjoying the morning sunshine, we went down for breakfast. Again, we couldn’t fault the service and the cooked breakfast was delicious. Really tasty food. They obviously have an excellent chef in the kitchen. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again one day for some good old-fashioned great hospitality."
