"Having read a few previous reviews wasn’t sure what to expect. Some said stairs were awful. Both me and my wife found the stairs fine. But anyone with restricted mobility may struggle. . Room spotlessly clean. Breakfast voucher in room to be used at local pub. Voucher value is £15pp. Full breakfast is £13.95. Then drinks are extra. So you end up paying a bit extra which isn’t made clear when you book. There are cheaper options on menu though. "

"Cosy and comfortable. Decent bedding and excellent duvet. Really nice breakast. The bathroom safety rails should be replaced as very rusty but plenty of hot water. Overall very clean, only let down by the rusty rails in the bathroom. Wouldnt put me off staying again, it was so peaceful and comfortable."

"Was there for 1 night and was made to feel very welcomed as a single female that’s a bonus. I ate as the food looked fantastic and I was allowed breakfast which was superb even though I arrive back after 10am . This was hospitality at its finest. Cracking rooms with unique homely touches ! "

It was extremely comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities, a large screen television and a spacious shower. We found it lovely and quiet. We appreciated the advice on local restaurants which were a short walk away. Breakfast was exceptional, ordered the evening before from a wide selection so no delay and very tasty. "

"Definitely a 5* review, we would definitely stay again. We had a family room so the children had their own bedroom. It was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed in, immaculate! The breakfast options were fantastic and the staff were all so friendly. We immediately felt relaxed. Locationwise it was a short stroll to the beach or up the hill to the lovely Royal Oak pub. "Nice room, bathroom had both shower and bath but when we went to use bath there was no plug so could not use which was disappointing. Shower was not very powerful at all. Plenty of tea /coffee provided and bottles of water provided. Beds comfy, enjoyed good sleep. They don’t do food anymore, so have to go else where for dinner & breakfast. "
