"This home was so charming... Lovingly maintained, perfectly decorated, stunning grounds, thoughtful amenities. When asked how they wanted to spend our last night in Gettysburg, our children chose to return to Hartlaub House to enjoy a cozy dinner, a campfire, and Civil War cornhole- they LOVED staying here. "The home was old but served its purpose well. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a little further from the Gettysburg battlefield than I would have preferred but it was the closest I could find that offered 4 beds which we needed. One bathroom was a challenge but we worked around it. The only negative was the street noise from the crossing where the house was located.
