"The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved the location and the wildlife as well! The deer were beautiful! It was a very short drive to the Battlegrounds and Gettysburg..The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We found the sunroom to be the perfect spot for our Bible reading. We definitely recommend staying here! to be back."

"The Shoe House was the perfect stay for our anniversary. This is a historical gem you don’t want to miss! So much history and nostalgia exists within the property, it is on amazing grounds, and the hot tub is piping hot! Perfect for relaxing on a crisp fall night! Plus, how cool is it that you get to say you stayed in a shoe!!! The owners/host were super responsive, no issues with access, and the shoe had all of the amenities we needed and more! "Cute little cottage. We mostly needed somewhere to stay and sleep our family of 5. We ate out most of the time and only did breakfast there, we used the fridge and toaster and that’s about it. It adequately met our needs! "

"The property is very remote, which is not sufficiently described in the ad. By this I mean NO CELL PHONE service within a 10 mile radius. There is NO WIFI service. Totally unsafe for BIPOC travelers and you will not be able to communicate with the outside world. Not as described at all and no accommoadation for the discrepancy between what is advertised and what is actually there"
