"A lovely hotel, in walking distance from town center and the the Shambles and York Minster. Great, friendly staff. Checking in and out was easy. The room was very clean and warm. Just check parking before leaving home as there is no parking on site. Theres a NCP parking close and the hotel offer a discount for parking there. "

The spa and pool is definitely the best we have been to. Changing rooms warm and very clean. We went at 8am and it was very quiet. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Bus service in to York was a bonus and stop just to left of hotel entrance. Will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to York."

"We love this hotel and stay every time we visit York if possible. We have tried several others and none quite meet the standard of the Malmaison. We always book the Club Deluxe rooms as they are very spacious, with separate sitting area and huge bathrooms with separate bath and shower, and little touches like Ferrero Rocher, water and Nespresso in the rooms. The location is great and the staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. Also to note, the cocktails are outstanding!"
