"This home is beautiful and very private. Normally when we have stayed at Massanutten, we have homes in front and behind and both sides and I feel like people are constantly watching. This home has no other houses right on top of it and gives you a sense of privacy. And the house has ample space for large groups. "My husband and I (and our pup) enjoyed our stay here! While the weather did not cooperate as we hoped for a weekend of hiking, the cabin was very cozy and we enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and spices for cooking. I'd definitely recommend visiting when it's warmer to take advantage of the fantastic wrap around porch and firepit!"

"While we’re typically beach people, we decided to try some winter fun at Massanutten Resort. Fortunately, there was availability at this cabin and we weren’t disappointed. It was just far enough away from the bustle of the city but close enough that driving out to the heart of Charlottesville was only 20 mins away. "We use VRBO nearly every time we travel and Magnolia House is the best-managed property we've ever stayed at! From the cleanliness to the amenities, the house had everything we needed. We traveled with our 18-year-old twins and two friends of theirs. Everyone had their own room and the kids had a separate downstairs den of their own. Overall, it was a great family weekend and we will definitely rent this house again!"
