"Fantastic hotel in a very peaceful setting with great views of Ludlow castle and the gorgeous countryside. Had a beautiful room with views of the castle. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast served in the dining room with beautiful countryside views. Ludlow town is within easy reach on foot, crossing over the river before climbing the hill alongside the castle. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel."

"A beautiful, quiet guesthouse, very nicely furnished and very clean and comfortable. Received a very warm welcome and a breakfast menu for the following morning, on arrival. Made to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was 5* and was enjoyed in a quiet and comfortable dining room with mountain views, an excellent start to the day. Will be sure to visit again and will be recommending to others in future. Thank you very much."

"I arrived later than should for check in due to delays but was still able to book in. The room was very clean with a lovely big comfortable double bed. There was tea and coffee in the rooms plus a television which was an added bonus. The shower room was extremely clean and the shower was lovely and hot. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. "

"Once we got to grips with the traffic flow on arrival and parked up everything else was on foot which made a pleasant change from what we’re used to. Our 3 night stay was spent walking and visiting pretty much every shop looking for bargains and stopping occasionally for coffee and cake . Each evening we had multiple choices for pub meals all of which were great. Our host was very helpful and we wanted for nothing and the accommodation at Rose cottage was sublime Great fun for us and our dog"
