"Excellent location in Haliburton. Staff was excellent. Rooms require some updating especially the bathroom. Wood for the room was very pricey and not having the dining room for food closed was difficult especially on a weekend of a snowstorm. Otherwise beautiful location and the ice rink, outdoor fire and option to snowshoe was great. "

"While the room was clean, upon arrival our toilet was not flushing. With no phone in the room you need to bring this to attention at the front desk. The issue was fixed after approximately an hour and we were offered complimentary drinks at the bar for the inconvenience. I would have liked to see more fire wood prepared neatly in the room before we arrived as well as kindling and matches. The bed was incredibly comfortable! The spa pool and sauna were excellent. And the quiet Muskoka...

"Lovely older building with a new modern look and amenities. Our room was beautiful with serene views amidst the winter landscape. The lobby/lounge was warm and welcoming. We booked a hydrotherapy session and thoroughly enjoyed the use of the sauna and steam room. The food was amazing at the restaurant and the service was on point. The resort itself is quite remote, but during an unexpected winter storm it was the perfect retreat. "
