"Beautiful place, cozy cabins, really enjoyed our trip. Maybe some new mattresses, it was a little uncomfortable. Ate at restaurant, supposed to be St. Patrick's Day party. Staff was completely overwhelmed. Well over an hour to get wings and a pizza. Garlic parm wings were really good! Pizza just ok. Party was not happening, so some customers who appeared to be regulars got karaoke started. Overall, we had a great time! Definitely interested in coming back forva friends trip. Probably will...

"We have enjoyed vacationing in Monterey for over 30 years. We have stayed in a variety of great places over the years but this beautiful, peaceful, heaven-on-earth cabin is our favorite! "My mom, SIL, and I took a much needed three day weekend away to visit the Maple Festival and spend some girl time together. The Cabin at Back Creek is the perfect spot to do that. The proximity to the sites of the festival is perfect; we didn’t feel like we were in the car too long and the views along the drive are amazing. "My family and I had a great stay at this beautiful property. It was well stocked and easy to get to the slopes. Had an issue with hot water and it was quickly taken care of by the property owner. Highly recommend!"

"We rented this for a trip to snowshoe mountain. The host was very helpful and left notes to follow around the house. The cabin was very cozy and welcoming. You can see deer in the backyard if you leave feed. The host had the fireplace going and a batch of muffins ready when we arrived. That fireplace was also amazing for warming up after a day in the snow."

"Loved the location in a more secluded area, though close to many outdoor activities and popular hiking paths. Absolutely cozy cabin with a fire pit outside that we used often during our stay."
