"Overall, we were happy with our stay. We were there in the winter, so we didn't get to enjoy the lake. The house was great as a launch point between Boston and the mountains.The house is literally on the lake. Water touches the lake side of the house. "Ten family members from four states convened in Andover for a holiday reunion and retreat. This was a great house for that. Great layout, spacious common areas, ample windows to welcome natural light, a fully equipped kitchen (great for this group that did its own cooking), comfy beds, and a great location. "The accommodations were great for our family of 6. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The only issue we ran into was parking. We have a large 12 passenger van and while it fit in the driveway, our van was scratched by the tree branches. We also had a really hard time backing out of the driveway due to all of the cars parked on both sides of the street. So- if you have a larger/longer vehicle, be prepared for that. "
