"My son and my overall had a great experience at this place. The building is a little older, but inside is good ebough for what we needed. Had no problems with neighbors or the area it is in. The hosts were very responsive with messages. I would definitely stay again."

"We were in town for Thanksgiving and stayed at this home for over 2 weeks. Nice home and location. Convenient to a lot of restaurants and entertainment. Layout with 2 living areas was perfect for our family. Host was very responsive. We hope to visit again!"

"The location is certainly excellent. Accessible to everything that we were hoping for. Restaurants, the United Center for the basketball game we came to attend. Property needs a bit of a facelift. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Whole foods right across the street was a bonus. Plenty of towels and linens. Remote controls for the TVs were all dead so we had to buy our own AAA batteries which was kind of. M annoying.k Propefacelift"

The Roux House Offers Luxury Comfort & Location in the Heart of Dallas!

"We spent a cozy weekend here in January with friends and it was terrific. My husband is an amateur chef and was surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was. The house is very cute and comfortable inside and was a perfect small group setting. The only caveat is that the house is located in an "up-and-coming" neighborhood on a main street with lots of traffic. You won't want to go out walking in the evenings. Bring earbuds for those who sleep on the street side of the house. Neither of these...

"Wonderful and comfortable place, in a very convenient location. Nice quiet neighborhood. House was clean and looked just as described in the photos. Each of 3 bedrooms had their own bathroom which was perfect for our group! Host was very attentive and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay."

"Property was nice, although you have to do a bit of searching if you need additional towels etc. Amenities were as advertised, and the neighborhood was quiet. We went in winter, so no comment on the pool. My only nitpick is that the upstairs master was a bit bare. Bed was comfy, one chair is ok, but only 1 sorta-end-table with a lamp with no lights in it by the bedside was a bit disappointing. We had a great time!"

Plenty of Seating for Family and Friends to Gather.

"When getting to the house I felt like it was in a nice, safe, middle income neighborhood and close to just about anything you could need. Entry into the house was easy with the instructions I was given and there was plenty of off street parking. We only had 1 vehicle but you could easily fit 2 vehicles, possibly 3. The house was nicely updated, clean and as described. The rooms all had closets with hangers and under bed drawers for storage. The house was equipped with plenty of towels,...

"My family and I stayed at The Cottage this Christmas while visiting my daughter in Dallas. Everything was just as I hoped and expected it to be. There was plenty of room for our family group of 6 to move around, sleep, and get comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked, the bathrooms were roomy and well equipped. The backyard was very spacious and family focused. And… the deck and string lights were great!Thank you so much for a wonderful Christmas gathering homey home!!!"
