"Good place for one night stay. "

"My husband and I are in our sixties and had never stayed in a hostel. I was a little leery about us fitting in but we had a wonderful stay. The property is well kept and the rooms were nicely appointed. This is a great place to stay if you would like to park and walk around the town. My only suggestion is there is one section of the stairs that could really use a handrail. Wonderful visit and I would definitely stay here again "

"The governor mansion in clarksdale has so much character... my family enjoyed every inch of this home. The history books of clarksdale took us back down memory lane. My family was actually in those books. The neighbors are very friendly, the neighborhood are very quiet. Kudos to the host for creating such a master piece and southern hospitality.."

"Travelers Hotel in Clarksdale is an amazing place. The rooms have so much character and are spotless. The community area on the first floor is like visiting someone's home. We arrived around 5pm and guests were enjoying Happy Hour - instead of that uncomfortable 'new kid' feeling, it felt more like entering 'Cheers' - everyone was so welcoming and warm. Fabulous bathroom (Malin + Goetz products - yeah!). Best night of sleep yet on this trip - pillows, bed, linens all added to the good rest. The location is perfect for visiting blues clubs in Clarksdale. Highly recommend -- Can't wait to return! "
