"Messed up my reservation, didn't let me know. Lost a night for which I wasn't refunded although they offered to, and amenities were not at all as described in Expedia. There's no TV signal, TVs not pre-connected to wifi, no info on the password, gave me pass 3 options none worked. Pretty pics that don't live up to the actual experience. I'm never coming back."

"We are very private people, and hate it when we rent a cabin and have any other houses within sight, to say nothing of those rentals with next door neighbors right on top of you. This gorgeous little cabin is tucked in the middle of the CR rain forest. No neighbors at all. Just hummingbirds, gorgeous butterflies and lots of other wildlife. "We absolutely loved our stay at this charming, rustic cabin. Nestled deep in the mountains, it provided the perfect escape from society and noise, allowing us to truly disconnect. "Lovely place and a great value. The staff was very kind, and the breakfast was tasty. Nice hot shower and nearby to a great restaurant. Only downside was the wifi didn't reach to our cabina-- only in the cafeteria area. "

"Sitting out on the balcony overlooking the valley, listening to and looking at the incredible variety of birds… Beautiful place very friendly and helpful. Renters good proximity to the different things we wanted to do. Wonderful place. Earplugs made any noise from dogs or roosters or the street disappear without a problem. Very kind neighbors. Would definitely recommend.!!"

"Property manager never showed up at the house to let us in. No response to emails or voice messages. After 6 emails and two voicemails I am still trying to get a refund. Avoid this place. Bad mgmt."

"We loved this property and I only wish we had more time. The host and the caretaker were responsive. Excellent bird watching in the mornings. Fresh guava to eat off the trees. We had two dinners at the farm next store and they were delicious! A lovely stay and my only wish is we had more time. Ricardo was super friendly and very helpful. A bit tricky to find but excellent directions. I hope to go back some day."

"If you want to be mire ir less off the geid in the mountains with spectacular views, this place is great. We made the trip in a small Hyundai, but I would recommend a car with a little more clearance if you have it. Views are amazing and the place is super quiet. Greay patio to enjoy everything."

"I stayed a couple of nights with friends, we only wanted a place to talk, play board games, cook some food and relax. This property was perfect for all that, with plenty of sitting areas. The bathroom was very nice, with plenty of space for large groups. The property was very clean and with a nice view. The only 2 things I will recommend the host to update are the couches (maybe a deep clean), they look dirty. The second thing is the futon (this was the 3rd bed), I slept there and it was not...

"A lovely house between Orosi and Paraiso, overlooking the Orosi Valley. Not far outside Paraiso--Waze took us right there. The house is beautiful and comfortable and very well appointed and supplied. The owner is only onsite part of the time, but is promptly available via WhatsApp. Her onsite assistant doesn't speak English, but we did fine with a little bit of Spanish and WhatsApp with the owner who speaks excellent English. We want to return to Casa Bartzis on a future trip--it's a winner!"
