"We had an amazing stay at the villa in October half term. The villa was perfect for a family stay. Comfortable and spacious for our family. Lovely views from the terrace and lots of space for relaxing by the pool. Only a few minutes from Sami, the perfect base for exploring the island. We had a day trip to Ithaca as well. Dimitris checked regularly that all was well and the villa was cleaned mid week in our stay. I thoroughly recommend Kefelonia and Dimitris’s villa - you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for a lovely stay! "

"Clean, safe and nice staff. However, you have to pay extra 20 euros per bed sheet and 10 euro per towel set and 5 euro to use the A, all per stay. Which wasn’t mentioned upon booking. There were no toiletries whatsoever, no dish soap, no toilet paper. Also there was a 100 euro deposit that wasn’t mentioned either. The cleaning costs 40 euro and you can choose to do it yourself but it included chores like wiping windows. The staff was very nice and gave us late check out and was very helpful regarding sharing information about the island. The location was very convenient and walking distance to the main things in Sami."

"My wife and I stayed here for two weeks in September 2024. We loved it. We had a 1 bedroom junior suite with a sea view. The apartment is on the second floor. If you have any mobility problems, please note that there is no lift. The location of the complex is excellent, right on the sea front. The beach, as with many on Kefalonia is stony. This area of the beach has no public facilities so is very quiet. The apartment was large, we had a double balcony. There was air conditioning in both the lounge area and bedroom. It is modern and well furnished. The kitchen area included a large fridge-freezer, hob, toaster kettle and coffee maker. There was also a washing machine in the bathroom,which we were not expecting. The shower had both a waterfall shower head and a second hand-held shower lower down. The hot water came through quickly which isn't always the case. The bed was large, and very comfortable. There was a large built in wardrobe with lots of draw space. Locally, there were two tavernas and a cafe, with a bakery nearby. Sami is a five minute drive away, and in the other direction Agia Elfimia is 10 minutes away. Both have a number of taverans and shops. Karavomylos was a good location for seeing the island. Argostelli was about 30 minutes away, Fiscardo 45 minutes, Assos and Myrtos beach 30 minutes drive. It was a really good apartment in a location that we thought was ideal. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Villa Marilena, Eleni and Marino are the most perfect of hosts. They really couldn’t have done enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property’s location was perfect for us, we love Chaliotata village some nice places to eat and not far from Sami. The villa was just as pictured and Marino and Eleni were always at the other end of the phone whenever we needed anything. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you Eleni and Marino for making our holiday so enjoyable, hope to see you again."

"The villa is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice, which is why I rated the accuracy of online listing as 3. The view is stunning and the villa is fully equipped with everything you need. The pool is brilliant as it isn't very deep so great for younger children. Spiros is a great host and exceptionally welcoming - thank you :). We had such a great time that we are going back next year."

"We had a wonderful holiday at The Walnut tree villa. The villa was perfect for our big family, all the children loved playing in the pool and exploring the grounds, not to mention table tennis tournaments too! The air conditioning was amazing as the heat was incredibly high in August. The villa was well equipped including a great little cupboard of toys and games etc. It is a perfect location too just down the road from lovely Sami. We would love to come back here one day, highly recommended, "

"We loved our stay at Penelope Villas, the villa was very well kept, spacious, modern, well equipped and in a great location. With just 4 villas it was quiet, but literally a 5 minute drive from Sami main promenade with a great selection of restaurants and shops. The only issue was the air con wasn’t working properly but the owners were very quick to get it fixed. The grounds were well kept and spacious, the pool was perfect for cooling down and there were staff regularly cleaning the pool, maintaining the grounds and giving the option of housekeeping. We’d definitely return."

"We have just returned from a lovely 2 week stay at Villa Chrysanthi. The villa is really well-equipped and clean with everything we needed. It had great views from the balconies and terrace area and the swimming pool was fabulous. We picked up a hire car from the airport and it took us around 50 mins to drive to the villa. What a beautiful scenic drive it was too. The owner Dimitris could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Right from the arrival information to all of the help and advice on the property and places to visit in the surrounding area he was an absolutely excellent host. The cleaners came in every few days as did the pool cleaners. We definitely hope to return one day. The villa is on the outskirts of Grizata and is no more than 10 mins by car to Sami. We found lots of great places to eat there. There is a lovely walk along the sea front from Sami to Karavamilos – it takes about 20-30 mins and is well worth it. We also took the hire car on the ferry from Sami to Ithaca – worth checking with your hire company first that the insurance covers you – ours did at no extra cost. We loved Ithaca so definitely recommend. Sami is also quite central to the island so easy access to most places. Overall a great two weeks and our 8 month old grandsons first holiday abroad – couldn’t have been better. Thanks Dimitris Steve, Angela, Amy, Ben and Ezra"
