"Was in the area for a baby shower. Perfect location, the shower was the neighborhood over. We were able to check in easily. The house was very welcoming and cute. The kitchen had all items except a stove, we had bought eggs for breakfast but did not end up cooking them. We spent the two afternoons outside to let the kids play, it was very peaceful. The kids enjoyed walking down the hill to see the ponies. The host was very attentive during the stay, checking in and bringing items if needed. The...

"We liked this property! It was a 10-15 minute drive to everywhere we wanted to go. A short walk to an entrance to the path around the lake. Great views of downtown. It was sweet that there were flowers on the table for our anniversary and breakfast foods, fruit, and coffee for us when we arrived. Plenty of towels and toilet paper! I appreciated that Raymond had both recycling and composting.The place was comfortable and well designed. As the listing states, there are stairs to get to the house!"

"Rented this property for Memorial Day weekend to be within easy drive or Pedernales State Park, Balcones Wildlife Refuge and the local wineries in the area. As the review title states....this experience was a mixed bag. I can't say there was good and bad, rather there was good and somewhat frustrating......but not bad. The Good: Property is definitely unique. Very clever setup and we didn't feel cramped being just the two of us and two small dogs Appliances are new and the hotplate and toaster...

The space was cozy and spacious for us as a couple and the kitchen and living space would be great for meal or relaxing and the desk is perfect for a little work or web surfing. "
