"Very nice historic hotel. Plus / minus on being co-located with busy Cuban restaurant. The food at the Cuban restaurant was excellent, but makes the hotel smell like oil and food. Parking also becomes an issue because of the restaurant. The hotel is an excellent location for all things downtown Deland."

"Stayed 1 night on way.so south Florida. Usually stay in Daytona but because of bike week couldn't find a room. This was only 25 minutes west and was a good clean afforable find. "

"It was a very nice and peaceful property. The four main cottages faced a center are that was well keep. Plenty of seating on the porches and in the center area with nice lighting at night. While we did see other staying at the other cabins, everyone was respectful, helping to keep the place sonething to enjoy."

"Hugo was a wonderful host. He suggested various places to visit. He made great pancakes. It was fun watching him feed the ducks. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The house was quiet and peaceful. It's worth a return trip. "
