"We loved the privacy of staying in our own little cottage. The property has a lot of charm. Any issues we had were easily resolved with a call to the owners. We had our own little kitchenette, ground coffee and coffee maker, refrigerator, plenty of fresh towels and a warm bed. Easy access to all of Lancaster County. The continental breakfast was tasty if a bit small. A small chest of drawers for clothing in the cottage would have helped. We had to live out of our suitcase for our stay. This...

"Alpenhof is everything you’d want in a B&B times a thousand. The owners greet you warmly and remain available while giving you space. The rooms are impeccable - every detail thoughtfully designed for the experience, and each bed (I’ve stayed in different rooms over the years) is so sooo comfortable!! There’s an enormous amount of gorgeous space - inside each room, in the incredible common areas, and on the landscaped grounds outside. I’ve never had a desire to re-visit a hotel or Airbnb or B&B...

"Very quiet and fun for all our family, but no one mentioned that there are no televisions. Quite a surprise for our grand kids. Due to inclement weather, there was nothing else we could do but sit around and talk. Also the breakfast was what ever was in the room at the time unless you go shopping for the night and next morning."

"We were in the Malvern area for a family event. Because one of our gatherings was to be dinner at the Inne, we found it convenient to stay at the General Warren Inne. Not that I anticipated poor accommodations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy suite and the kind, courteous staff. Also, the dinner Saturday evening was very good. Again, staff who worked the private room was great. I want to specifically complement a young lady named Andrea. "
