"We chose a mild winter vacation this year over the beach. The idea was for our kids parents and grandparents to spend a vacation together with different scenery. Without a doubt the Mendenhall was well worth the trip. The guest book told the history of a home full of memories for its owners. We were happy to make our own holiday memories there this year. Mr. Ben was more than helpful during our stay. From the wildlife to the cozy quiet welcoming feeling, just a really great place to enjoy. "

"This property is perfect! It had everything we needed in the kitchen. We bring our boat and there is a great driveway to turnaround. It was very clean and well put together! Looking forward to next year! "

"This home was spacious. The kitchen was well equipped if you like to do meals in. Plenty of bathrooms. For very senior adults, the sitting furniture was not comfortable, but it was doable. Beds very comfortable. The driveway was most difficult to find. It needs to be clearly stated on the instructions for locating the house. We had a very good experience overall for our stay "

"While I appreciate the contact from the host both during our stay and beforehand the house was dirty upon arrival and there was a very unpleasant odor. The floors, bathrooms and general wiping of surfaces needed attention. The bedding appeared to be freshly laundered. The host contacted me within the first 24 hours, I did not mention it thinking that at that point what could be done…in addition there are some rotting boards on the deck which could cause injury if someone were to step on that...

"My boyfriend and I stayed 4 nights in November beforeThanksgiving. It's a beautiful, cute, and quiet place. The host were wonderful, kind, and generous. Anne(Host) made some yummy muffins and had a welcome card for us. Loved they had trails you could walk on the property, orange vest, and hats to wear for safety during hunting season. We really enjoyed it and hopefully return again in the future. Thank ya'll for a wonderful getaway. "
