This is a cute little cabin, perfect for a 49th anniversary trip. We spent most evenings sitting outside on porch, waiting for sasquatch (Big Foot) to show up he never did. That is how far out from everything felt, but the owners house was just a couple blocks down the lane through the trees. It contains a well equipped kitchen for meal prep, games for entertainment which were not needed, just sitting outside listening to the sounds of the forest was entertainment enough. I know I heard the trees take a deep sigh, just before the rain started. Listening to the rain drop through the leaves without the sounds of a city, yeah. Finding out we could both sleep together in a full bed was Great! It is a cozy, clean, and very comfortable cabin for our celebration. AC worked great, cellphone service was adequate when needed,(there were storms that rolled through that added to the whole atmosphere), hiking trail just to the North of the property (150' maybe) on Mark Twain National Forest, and best of all, no TV, no internet service. Just us and the sounds of Nature. Be sure to have insect repellent though, them little critters are hungry. Sorry for being long winded on this, but we thoroughly enjoyed the trip, the sites, but the greatest pleasure was to get back to the cabin and just sit out on the front porch with the wine we purchased here and there. Thanks to the Henry's for providing us with this cabin.
