Without a doubt the Mendenhall was well worth the trip. The guest book told the history of a home full of memories for its owners. We were happy to make our own holiday memories there this year. Mr. Ben was more than helpful during our stay. From the wildlife to the cozy quiet welcoming feeling, just a really great place to enjoy. "

"While I appreciate the contact from the host both during our stay and beforehand the house was dirty upon arrival and there was a very unpleasant odor. The floors, bathrooms and general wiping of surfaces needed attention. The bedding appeared to be freshly laundered. The host contacted me within the first 24 hours, I did not mention it thinking that at that point what could be done…in addition there are some rotting boards on the deck which could cause injury if someone were to step on that...

"The property is in a remote spot with beautiful scenery. We were only there for one night, so we didn't have a chance to explore. House was very clean, and stocked with everything you'd need to cook. There is a game room with a pool table and plenty of games to keep everyone entertained without WiFi. Highly recommend it!"
