"There is no lift, the hotel checkin is one flight up a winding staircase. Our room was up another level with another winding staircase. The room was comfortable the decor is old world. The bathroom shower was in a tub that was not easy to climb into could be considered hazardous. It was nice to stay on the island and enjoy the peacefulness at night."

The owner gave us personalized attention and was very helpful. The location is convenient to Mont Saint Michel: just a five-minute drive to the parking lot to catch the shuttle bus. "This hotel is situated above the main area of the seaside so it's a walk either up or down quite a steep hill to get to restaurants and shops- good for keeping fit! The staff were excellent and helpful but we had to change our room when the shower broke which meant we were moved to a smaller room. That spoilt our stay a bit as we had a lot of luggage and stuff."
