"It is not often that you stay at a hotel or lodge where the service and staff is exceptional. From the front desk to the valet to the restaurant, everyone was pleasant, respectful and accommodating. The room was immaculate and comfortable. Wonderful prices as well. A special shout out to the valet staff. They were wonderful!"

"I loved the Retro Inn! I could only stay overnight, but I would love to return to Cortez and spend time exploring the area. I arrived at 1 a.m. The lobby closes at 10 p.m., but they sent me a passcode to open a lockbox where I found my door key. I did have a difficult time opening the door - original locks, perhaps, but once inside, I loved my room. The bed was so comfortable that I fell asleep fast and stayed asleep. It was quiet and had everything I wanted or expected for a budget stay. In the morning there was coffee and friendly people. The place is a 1950s (older?) motel and is cute as can be. "

"The Victorian features of the hotel were beautiful and have been mixed in nicely with modern touches. The Executive suite had ample room and was comfortable for our two night stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to have the option of breakfast at the hotel, but there are tons of restaurants around for other meals. It was a great trip!"
