"We had a very nice stay! Friendly staff, good breakfasts. A couple of little things could be improved. No body wash or shampoo by the bath (had to unscrew and move from the shower) and no floor mat when we arrived. But overall very happy with our stay. "

"Absolutely fabulous stay at the Townhouse. The property is immaculately presented and in a great location overlooking the park and short walk to city centre. We could not have wished for better service from David, truly a wonderful host who had thought of everything for our stay including toys and changing mat for our baby granddaughter who was with us only for the afternoon. "Nice central place to stay. Staff nice and helpful. Only down side was the bottom surround of the shower had black mould the rest of the room was lovely n clean. As was only staying 1 night was able to miss using the shower. Would still recommend but advise to have this issue seen to."

"Great location. Easy walk to train/bus. Cool medieval/castle property. Nicely furnished. Small but comfortable room. Ensuite bathroom very nice and all immaculately clean. Host/owner is very friendly. I ordered the light breakfast which was excellent in a beautiful dining room. There is also a very pretty back courtyard. I was able to store luggage for the day."

"We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us some extra cookies that Brian had made.! "

"This is a great place to stay for a night or longer. The host is fantastic! She even remembers everyone’s name! The house is spotless and has beautiful views from large windows. Her breakfasts for guests are epic! The castle is located a short walk, unfortunately up, to the top of the mountain. There is a paved walking trail that leads you to restaurants, bats and shopping. We had a wonderful time staying there in those comfortable rooms!"

"Tom and Rowena are gorgeous hosts in this beautiful place in Leith. The breakfast options are aplenty, on top of a good small buffet of fruit, yoghurt and cold cuts. Our room was comfortable, clean and homely. The only downside was the bathroom and toilet were kinda tiny so just take it into account if you need more space. Would definitely stay again 10/10 recommend this to others - as it's within 3 minutes' walk of at least 3 different bus routes."

"Very nice cabin in the country and the hot tub was amazing. We did a lot of cooking in the cabin. Very beautiful and the owner was super nice and friendly. When we come back to Scotland we will definitely stay here again. "
