"Great location for seeing wildlife. We were even lucky enough to see a bobcat. Property was well off the road and seemed like you were living on "Little House on the Prairie." House was exactly as described, and we couldn't have asked for a better location to see House on the Rock and Cave of the Mounds. Enjoyed are family time together and will definitely be back."

From the efficient check in/check out process, very clean and beautiful rooms, amazing Lake Monona view, each moment was delightful. Also the hotel has a very safe and secure environment. "Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. We loved the fact this place was out in the middle of no where. The house was really quiet except when we got major winds (which isn't Steve's fault just part of nature this time of the year). The trails were an extra bonus for us and the dog. Our dog was in heaven. Hopefully we will get to come back again when the trees have leaves and the little church next door is complete. Thanks Steve for sharing your place with us. You are a true blessing "

"We had a weekend planned in Galena. My daughter’s bachelorette party. We did a wine tour all day and then arrived back to the house for the evening. Very spacious home and the girls loved the hot tub. Kitchen was perfect for entertaining. Beds were comfy and nice big bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again !"

"The cabin was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. It was well appointed, clean, beautifully decorated, and located on a beautiful, serene lake. There was plenty of room for our two dogs to run and explore the property. We look forward to staying again!"
